About the INFINITI QX80
Combine luxury with capability and you’ll find Infiniti’s full-size SUV, the QX80. The upscale and elegant design is surprisingly sporty with a powerful 400-horsepower 5.6-liter V8 engine. Drivers who like to look good on the road and appreciate the luxe amenities while enjoying the QX80’s practicality will enjoy the vehicle’s 20-inch alloy wheels, capable of all kinds of terrain and towing all kinds of cargo, with a capacity of 8,500 pounds.
An optional Hydraulic Body Motion Control system distributes variable pressure to the appropriate suspension, helping maintain a smooth and easy ride for both driver and passengers. Also available in four-wheel drive, the QX80 can conquer any kind of weather on the road by adjusting the torque between the front and rear wheels. Whether rain, snow, off-road or any terrain, the QX80 will reliably get you to your destination with its impressive handling and powerful LED headlights that provide excellent levels of visibility.
What the Critics Say
Luxury three-row off-road capable family transportation is quite the niche, and it’s one that the QX80 aims for directly. This big-bodied SUV can seat up to eight passengers—on leather seats, natch—and offers plenty of space for cargo as well. A 5.6-liter V-8 provides adequate power and a deep-throated burble that seems well-matched to the QX80’s masculine styling.”
— Car and Driver
Luxury SUVs – and even nonluxury SUVs – of this size aren’t known for being agile. The INFINITI QX80 bucks that trend. Its available Hydraulic Body Motion Control system gives it a smoother ride and nimbler handling. Body lean around corners is minimal, and this SUV slides over bumps and dips in the road without jostling its occupants.”

What’s New for 2021
There are several key changes to the INFINITI QX80 worth highlighting for the 2021 model year. Features that are now included as standard across the model range are adaptive cruise control, lane departure prevention, blind-spot monitoring, and a rear-seat seat belt reminder. Trim levels have been re-shuffled for 2021 as well. The hierarchy now spans from the entry-level LUXE to the mid-range Premium Select and upwards to the range-topping Sensory.
INFINITI QX80 Features
Powerful Performance & Bold Styling
Both powerful and efficient, the 5.6-liter V8 engine of the INFINITI QX80 gives you the ability to tow up to a massive 8,500 pounds (when properly equipped). Available Hydraulic Body Motion Control system monitors force and distributes variable pressure to either the outer or inner suspension, resulting in less body lean and a smooth ride. Optional All-Mode® 4WD monitors and tunes torque between front and rear wheels to help maintain grip on rainy or snowy roads, featuring individually selectable 4H and 4L modes. Visually representing the immense strength of the QX80, confident body lines help you make a confident statement of elegance from behind the wheel. Expressive LED headlights provide exceptionally clear visibility while complementing the chiseled front grille of the INFINITI QX80.
Premium Interior
Look confident on the road whether you’re going for a joy ride solo, with the premium heated, leather wrapped steering wheel, or taking the family for a night out. The QX80 comfortably accommodates up to 8 passengers. With ample interior space and a third-row, passengers can enter and exit the vehicle seamlessly without restrictions, with the standard 60/40 power split fold-flat and reclining third-row seat. Passengers can further customize their riding experience and adjust the climate with warm and cool controls. An optional eight-inch monitor will keep passengers thoroughly entertained for both short and long road trips. If you’re worried your passengers might impede your rearview visibility, the optional Smart Rearview Mirror can help guide you out of a parking spot safely.
The QX80 is available in optional premium two-tone semi-aniline leather with Alcantara® appointed seating with quilting, contrast piping and stitching, and open pore Ash wood trim.
Driver-Assistive Safety
With top of the line amenities, comes the latest technology in safety features and warnings. The QX80 has built-in safety nets for the driver, including Predictive Forward Collisions Warning and Forward Emergency Braking with Pedestrian Detection. Both driver-assistive safety measures help to keep driver, passenger, pedestrians and other fellow motorists safe. To maintain safe distances with other vehicles, the QX80 is equipped with Lane Departure Prevention, Moving Object Detection and Intelligence Cruise Control. These features assist drivers in avoiding potential collisions but in parking situations as well. Additionally, Infiniti’s InTouch Services connects drivers’ smart devices, easily adapting to drivers’ lifestyles, from navigation to satellite radio and more.
